CaMSIGN is delighted to present its second annual CaRMS neurosurgery program overview, featuring 12 of Canada's neurosurgery residency programs across the country!
Our goal is to facilitate interaction and encourage students to engage with different Program Directors to familiarize themselves with each neurosurgery residency program, their culture, unique features and what it would be like to be trained at that respective institution. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about each program’s upcoming information session/open house.
More resources and updates will be posted on an ongoing basis under the “CaRMS Resources” page of our website (camsign.ca/carms). You may also find a recording of last year's event at the link provided.
The structure of this two-day information session will consist of blocks of 30 minutes where each Program Director will provide a general synopsis to their program and other relevant information. This would be followed by a brief Q&A session.
The order of the programs will be posted when finalized, so be sure to follow our website and social media platforms. For interested students, Program Directors have kindly agreed to provide their contact information for further student query.
This session would be most useful for senior medical students who will be applying to neurosurgery during the current 2022/2023 CaRMS cycle. However, all medical students with an interest in neurosurgery are welcome, as attendees will equally benefit from the event through an expansive networking opportunity with like-minded peers, and having their most sought-after questions answered.
CaMSIGN will continue to serve medical students by acting as a bridge between them and neurosurgery programs. We like to also thank Program Directors and Residents across the country for their continued support of this initiative. We hope that you will be able to join us for this session and enjoy it!
